Privacy Policy

Who we are

Cuttr is operated by Close Call, an Australian Trust. For privacy questions, access, correction, objection, or deletion requests, contact [email protected]. That contact is also the operator with access to the launch waitlist described below and is responsible for handling waitlist deletion requests.

Launch waitlist

If you check the consent box on our waitlist form, we store your email address, a timestamp, and which version of this notice and the consent statement you saw. We send one verification email with a link that expires after 24 hours; only a confirmed address is eligible to later receive our single launch-announcement email. That email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not send any other marketing or newsletter mail to this list, and this consent does not cover future mailings — a separate, later opt-in would be required for that.

An unconfirmed submission is deleted after 14 days. A confirmed, unsubscribed, or bounced address is deleted no later than 12 months after you submitted it, or sooner if you ask us to remove it, or once the launch announcement has been sent. You can ask for early removal at any time using the contact above.

Anonymous website analytics

Cuttr uses a self-hosted Umami analytics service to understand aggregate use of the website, such as page views, referring sites, device type, browser, and country. The analytics tracker does not set analytics cookies, fingerprint visitors, or track people across websites.

We exclude URL query strings and fragments from analytics. Do not place personal information in page paths, event names, or custom event properties.

Your choices

Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK are asked for permission before anonymous analytics loads. Visitors elsewhere receive an informational notice and can disable analytics at any time through the Privacy choices control. We honour a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.

Cuttr does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Infrastructure and retention

Analytics runs on Cuttr-controlled infrastructure. Cloudflare provides the network tunnel and supplies a country code used only to select the appropriate privacy notice. Raw visitor IP address headers are removed before requests reach the analytics service.

Aggregate analytics records are retained for up to 13 months and then deleted. We do not enable session replay, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services.

Still pending completion

The sections above (entity, contact, analytics, and the launch waitlist) are complete. Not yet covered by this notice: a full inventory of account and payment data (registered accounts, Stripe purchase records, credit ledger, uploaded designs, and related admin records) and their specific retention periods. That inventory must be completed before this notice can be relied on as the complete Privacy Policy for the rest of the product.
