Anonymous website analytics

Cuttr uses a self-hosted Umami analytics service to understand aggregate use of the website, such as page views, referring sites, device type, browser, and country. The analytics tracker does not set analytics cookies, fingerprint visitors, or track people across websites.

We exclude URL query strings and fragments from analytics. Do not place personal information in page paths, event names, or custom event properties.

Your choices

Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK are asked for permission before anonymous analytics loads. Visitors elsewhere receive an informational notice and can disable analytics at any time through the Privacy choices control. We honour a browser Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.

Cuttr does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Infrastructure and retention

Analytics runs on Cuttr-controlled infrastructure. Cloudflare provides the network tunnel and supplies a country code used only to select the appropriate privacy notice. Raw visitor IP address headers are removed before requests reach the analytics service.

Aggregate analytics records are retained for up to 13 months and then deleted. We do not enable session replay, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services.

Before production release

This technical privacy notice must be reviewed and completed with Cuttr's legal entity name, privacy contact details, full account/payment data inventory, applicable retention periods, and request-handling process before it is relied on as the production Privacy Policy.
